The Georgian Fishermen's Association (GFFA) was founded in 2011 by fish farmers and industry specialists. GFFA unites more than 200 farms covering all regions of Georgia, feed companies and two cooperatives. The association closely cooperates with the international organization Eurofish and two regional fisheries management organizations GFCM and CACFish. The association participates in workshops and conferences and disseminates the knowledge gathered at these events to its members.
